LifeBank is currently working on the blood shortage problem in Nigeria by connecting hospitals to blood banks, and blood banks to donors. We do this by hosting blood drives and by delivering blood in less than 55 minutes, in a WHO and EU recommended cold-chain, to hospitals.We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Title: HR and Admin RepresentativeLocation: NigeriaReporting Relationships: Operations Lead and CEOAbout the roleThe HR and Admin Representative will be responsible for day-to-day administrative and HR functions within LifeBank.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides job candidates by publishing job ads, screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates and removing the job adsMaintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increasesOrients new employees by providing orientation information packs; reviewing company policies; and gathering other payroll information;Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.Assist payroll unit by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leave of absence, sick days and work schedules)Answer employees queries about HR-related issuesDevelop training and onboarding materialPrepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like total number of hires by departments, turnover rates etcWrite and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters and formsDevelop and maintain employees filing systemManage workflow by assigning tasks to other administrative employees daily, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctlyImplement and monitor programs as directed by management, and see the programs through to completionMaintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines etcMaintain office supplies by checking inventory and order itemsMaintain a safe and clean working environment
